2025 Chinese Calligraphy Contest

To celebrate the arrival of the 2025 Lunar New Year, the Staff Welfare Association (SWA) organised a Chinese Calligraphy Contest for staff and students on January 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the multipurpose hall. The contest featured two categories, the “Beginner Group” and the “Intermediate Group,” attracting 35 participants. Lee Yi Fan and Asst. Prof. Ng Chee Fong from the Faculty of Art and Design emerged as the champion in their respective categories.

The panel of judges comprised Asst. Prof. Dr. Tam Yong Huei, Mr. Lok Jun Yan, and Mr. Lee Boon Fei. Distinguished guests included the Vice Chairman of Board of Directors Datin Teh Hwee Tiang, Board Director Mr. Foo Suan Soo, President of Southern UC Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Chuah Joon Huang, Vice President (Academic) Prof. ChM. Dr. Leong Loong Kong, Vice President (Corporatisation and Internationalisation) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chan Sai Keong, and Vice President (Research and Innovation) Asst. Prof. Ts. Dr. Teo Pei Kian.

为迎接2025年农历乙巳年的到来，本校教职员福利联谊会（SWA）于1月15日下午2时在健龙厅举办挥春比赛，为校园增添春节气氛。本次比赛分为“初级组”和“中级组”，共吸引35位教职员与学生参赛。李一凡同学与艺术系的吴志方老师分别荣获两组冠军。

比赛评审包括谭勇辉老师、骆俊彦老师和李文辉老师。当天出席活动的嘉宾还包括副董事长拿汀郑惠珍、董事符传曙先生、南方大学学院校长蔡润煌教授、副校长梁龙光教授、副校长陈世强副教授以及副校长赵佩娟助理教授等。
