On June 27, 2024, forty-six students and six lecturers from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Southern University College led by the Ts. Chan Ler-Kuan, actively participated in an AI Seminar organized by the Faculty of Computing at UTM.

This seminar was a comprehensive exploration of the current landscape of AI software development, addressing key concepts and emerging trends that are shaping the future of the industry. The event provided a platform for in-depth discussions on best practices and strategic recommendations for advancing AI technologies.

A significant portion of the seminar was dedicated to addressing the ethical implications of AI, with a particular focus on the challenges posed by AI-generated images. Expert speakers highlighted the potential risks and ethical dilemmas associated with the misuse of AI technology, emphasizing the need for stringent guidelines and responsible practices to mitigate these issues.

Through these discussions, the seminar underscored the importance of ethical stewardship in AI development and application. 2024年6月27日，来自南方大学工程与信息技术学院计算机科学系的46名学生和6名讲师，在陈乐观讲师的带领下，积极参加了由马来西亚理工大学（UTM）计算机系举办的人工智能研讨会。

这次研讨会全面探讨了人工智能软件开发的现状，涵盖了塑造行业未来的关键概念和新兴趋势。会议为深入探讨了机器学习、深度学习和其他人工智能子领域的最新进展，提供了一个平台。与会者直接从曾使用和开发这些工具的专家那里学习了最新的工具和最佳实践。除了技术方面的好处外，研讨会还通过安排的网络交流机会，为职业发展提供了良好的机会。
