We are thrilled to announce that our dedicated team of staff and students from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology has brought home 1 Gold and 5 Silver awards at the prestigious Johor International Innovation, Invention, Competition, and Symposium 2024 (JIICAS 2024) competition! 
The GOLD award was proudly secured by Tong Lee Qi and Wong Yap Hen for their innovative project, Simply Book Service: A Comprehensive Mobile Application for On-Demand Household Services. This app demonstrates the potential of technology to make daily life easier and more efficient!
Our talented teams also brought home five Silver Awards for their outstanding projects, further showcasing their commitment to excellence and innovation. It was outstanding efforts by Kathleen Goh Yee Xuan (SmartResident: Resident Management Mobile Application System), Jamieleen Goh Yee Chee (My Daily App: Personal Management System), Teh Jun Yuan and Lee Lin Hu
ie (AI-MediaSuite: Advanced Tools for Multimedia Processing), and Tung Khai Yen, Siew Zi Yang, Ngeu Chee Hau and Ng Khai Lee (Smart Safeguard Cane).
Congratulations to the remarkable staff – Mr. Chan Bun Seng, Mr. Leong Kah Meng, Ms. Noor Fatihah, Ms. Shaffika, Ms. Nur Shamilla, and Ms. Khairunnisha – for their invaluable guidance and support throughout this journey!
