Faculty of Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which originated from China has a long history dating back over several thousand years. We are fortunate that we are able to practice and teach these old yet clinically effective ways of treatment in the higher education sector in Malaysia today.

TCM has been recognized by the Ministry of Health in Malaysia and expected to be integrated as part of mainstream healthcare system in Malaysia. Therefore, TCM practitioners could have a promising future in their career development.

We guide and encourage students to learn cultural and philosophical ideas that could lead to the development of particular methods and techniques of treatments in Chinese Medicine. We sincerely look forward to welcoming more school leavers who are interested in TCM to enrol in the Faculty of Chinese Medicine. In order to achieve the oath on ‘Health Related, Life Entrusted’, we strive hard to contribute our best towards the development of TCM in Malaysia.
